Details and Frequently asked question about the Atal Pension Yojana.
Atal Pension Yojana (APY), which will provide a defined pension, depending on the contribution, and its period.
The APY will be focussed on all citizens in the unorganised sector, who join the National
Pension System (NPS) administered by the Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA).
Under the APY, the subscribers would receive the fixed minimum pension of Rs. 1000 per month, Rs. 2000 per month, Rs. 3000 per
month, Rs. 4000 per month, Rs. 5000 per month, at the age of 60 years, depending on their contributions, which itself would be based on the age of joining the APY
The minimum age of joining APY is 18 years and maximum age is 40 years.
Mainly targeted at unorganised sector workers.
All bank account holders under the eligible category may join APY with autodebit facility to accounts
The subscribers are required to opt for a monthly pension from Rs. 1000 - Rs. 5000 and ensure payment of stipulated monthly contribution
regularly.
Government would provide (i) fixed pension guarantee for the subscribers; (ii) would co-contribute 50% of the total contribution or Rs. 1000 per annum, whichever
is lower, to eligible subscribers;
Charges for Non Contribution
• Rs. 1 per month for contribution upto Rs. 100 per month.
• Rs. 2 per month for contribution upto Rs. 101 to 500/- per month.
• Rs. 5 per month for contribution between Rs 501/- to 1000/- per month.
• Rs. 10 per month for contribution beyond Rs 1001/- per month.
Discontinuation of payments of contribution amount shall lead to following:
• After 6 months account will be frozen.
• After 12 months account will be deactivated.
• After 24 months account will be closed.
Upon completion of 60 years, the subscribers will submit the request to the associated bank for drawing the guaranteed monthly pension.
Exit before 60 years of age is not permitted, however, it is permitted only in exceptional circumstances, i.e., in the event of the death of beneficiary or terminal
disease.
Government co-contribution is 50% of the total contribution amount or Rs. 1000 per annum, whichever is lower, for a period of 5 years. Government co-contribution is
available for those who are not covered by any Statutory Social Security Schemes and are not income tax payers.

SOME BANK WAGE REVISION UPDATES AND UPDATE ON 2ND AND 4TH SATURDAY HOLIDAY
With wage settlement done and already signed now it is the time for some update as when one would be getting arrears and other benefits and most important of them being from when the 2nd and 4th Saturday Holiday for bankers shall going to be implemented.
- Final wage revision has been signed and charts are already out for various cadres and pay scales.
- Arrears shall be payable from this month onwards that is from June 2015 only but it all depends upon banks to banks for instance some banks like Canara Bank pays the arrears very early as compared to other public sector banks.
- The increase salary after the new wage revision implementation shall be payable to bankers from June 2015 onwards.
- On the holiday on 2nd and 4th Saturday front it be implemented from July 2014 onwards according to reports from RBI and Govt of India.
- Clarification on Medical or Cashless hospitalization is not fully final yet and may be clear in due course of time.

OFFICIAL AND FINAL , PAY REVISION AND SALARY CHART OF OFFICERS RELEASED
Here is the final list of officers salary chart after the wage revision, as predicted earlier by us , the increase in Gross is around 15% for the officers staff of public sector bank.
The basic starts from 23,700 from earlier 14,500, and Present DA being 33.73%, but important thing here to note is that DA Factor has been reduced to .10% from earlier of .15% which means with every slab increase in DA there will be only 0.10% increase in salary ( DA Payable on Basic + Special Pay )There has been big blow on the Medical Aid front too, it was expected for officers to be 15,390 but it has only been increased to 7900 from 5100/-.
Kindly note that you will get arrears too on this that is 2800 * 4 Years ie 2012-15 which is 11,200/- will be medical paid to employees.
In our view this has been one of the worst wage settlement the bankers have seen and arrears will too be on the lower side.

- Annual Premium is INR 330/- Per Annum ( Presently no service tax is levied on this )
- First cover period is 1 June 2015 to 31 May 2016
- Irrespective of enrolment period the first renewal premium will fall on 1st June 2016
- Payment mode is auto debit mode from the account holders account
- Coverage is till 55 Years of Age
- Policy terminates on attaining 55 years of age, closure of bank account, insufficient fund in account for payment of premium
- If you have terminated your policy and want to rejoin then you can do so by paying the premium and submitting the Good Health declaration form.
- No survival benefit is given when policy gets completed

- Scheme is very good especially for poor people as they can not afford the higher cost insurance policy
- The premium is same throughout the policy period irrespective of enrolment date hence good for people who fall in higher age bracket.
- Those who can afford the other insurance policy and are of very young age till age of 30 can go for Online Insurance Plan Policies which offer very higher sum assured / death benefit upon very low premium.
NEWSPAPER REPORT ABOUT COURT MATTER ON BANKERS WAGE REVISION - WILL IT HALT
Check out the blow newspaper news of Paper HINDUSTAN which reports that there is likely to be a court stay on the Wage Revision of Bank employees due from November 2012, the report says that as most of the Leaders are Retired Bank employees hence they are not eligible to negotiate on part of the present bank employees.
The court has said that this matter is to be completed within 6 months in collaboration with the petitioner , Bank unions and IBA.
"It seems that all things are finalised for the signing to be done for Wage Revision of 10th Bipartite wage revision on 22-23rd May 2015. But it is difficult to say as what will be the impact of this court order on the outcome of wage revision which has been lingering for more than 30 months and new wage revision is due from 1 November 2017"

National Mission for Clean Ganga (NMCG) is the implementation wing of National Ganga River Basin
Authority (NGRBA). It is a registered society originally formed by Ministry of Environment, Forests and
Climate Change (MoEFCC) on 12th August 2011 under the Societies Registration Act, 1860. As per the
306th amendment in the Government of India (Allocation of Business) Rules, 1961, both NGRBA and
NMCG are allocated to the Ministry of Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation
(MoWR,RD amp;GR).
The Secretary to the Government of India, MoWR, RD amp; GR is the current chairman of the Governing Council of NMCG. As per the approval of the Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs
(CCEA), the mandate of NGRBA is being implemented by, the National Mission for Clean Ganga (NMCG).
At national level NMCG is the coordinating body and is being supported by States Level Program
Management Groups (SPMGs) of UP, Uttarakhand, Bihar and West Bengal which, are also registered as
societies under Societies Registration Act, 1860 and a dedicated Nodal Cell in Jharkhand.
The Mission Director of NMCG is a Joint Secretary (JS) in Government of India. For effective
implementation of the projects under the overall supervision of NMCG, the State Level Program
Management Groups (SPMGs) are, also headed by senior officers of the concerned States.
